U.N. Officers Injured In Crash www.privateofficer.com

NEW YORK N.Y. Oct. 29, 2007 — Two United Nations security officers have been injured in a scooter accident.
U.N. spokesman Michele Montas says one officer lost control of the three-wheel scooter at a 42nd Street garage exit. It struck the other security officer, as well as a post.
The accident was on U.N. premises.

Both officers were taken to a hospital by ambulance. Montas says it appears the injuries are not life-threatening.

No other details of the accident or the injuries have been made public at this time.

The U.N. employs a very large force of both certified sworn police officers and non-sworn security officers.
